Kim Cooper - Opening Night 19th December 2010
Take the eclectic mix of dance pop, an honest edge and quick wit of Aussie hip hop and blend with the grungy undertones of glam-rock and what do you have?
The powerful female vocals and musical vision of Kim Cooper, that’s what!
Breakthrough Australian performer, Kim Cooper, has graduated from the Idol boot-camp class of ’09 and is rearing to soar onto the Australian music scene with her up-and-coming self-titled debut album. Kim is an outspoken and candid young woman who sings about real issues. She has adopted the life mantra “feel the fear... and do it anyway” and does exactly that by pushing herself and testing her limits every day.
Kim describes herself as an “all or nothing” kind of person, where the “nothing” side of her rarely enters the equation. She has a deep intensity and throws herself into her projects one hundred percent: “I border line on obsession and addiction in everything I enjoy”.
